• This was an unauthorized SJP group activity, despite their suspension 

• SJP Columbia advertised this sale on their instagram. See photo. 

• The group sold artwork, pins, stickers with “River to the Sea Palestine Will Be Free” and depicting a slingshot. See photo. 

  • The language on their artwork violates Barnard Policy Against Discrimination and Harassment and Related Procedures as it is harassment and creates a hostile environment.  See policy.  

• CUAD effort, with three clubs directly involved

• Table was reserved by the Housing Equity Project

  • This may have violated Columbia University’s Student Group Event Policy (Fronting) which states “Booking space on behalf of another student group, including unrecognized student groups, or an outside entity is prohibited.” See policy.  

• This language may be considered Behavioral Violations (Harassment) of Columbia University’s Policy.  See policy.  

• This may have violated Columbia University’s Code of Conduct, which states “Refrain from behavior that intentionally or recklessly endangers, threatens, or causes physical or emotional harm to any person, or that intentionally or recklessly causes reasonable apprehension of such harm.” See policy.
