* On the first day of class, a student attended a class at Barnard in the women's and gender studies department called "Intersectional Feminisms". The class is taught by Marisa Solomon who was wearing a keffiyeh and started the class by saying "It's been a hundred days since the war in Gaza began..." (making no mention of the Oct 7 terrorist attack). Later in her monologue, she implied an equivalency between the "censoring" of anti-Israel speech by universities with Native boarding schools.

It is clear the Professor also takes the stance that Israel is an imperial settler colonial country.
