A panel (flier) with a number of virulently anti-Israel Columbia professors Rashid Khalidi, Katherine Franke, Kayum Ahmed, Mahmood Mamdani and others was assembled for a discussion of the recommendations issued by the Columbia Task Force on Antisemitism. Two scheduled speakers do not show.

The full-length audio and transcript of the entire panel are available. Some highlights:

  • Professor Katherine Franke doubles down on her call to exclude students who served in IDF from campus (video, audio, transcript). This would apply to almost all Israelis as the service in the IDF is mandatory in Israel.

  • Professor Katherine Franke talks about how the April 17, 2024 congressional hearing might affect the situation on campus and whether Columbia is cracking down on the anti-Israel protests in order to show that they are doing something prior to the hearing (video, audio, transcript).
