• Statement of Columbia University Urban Planning in response to NYPD being brought onto campus.

  • The statements ends with a call for the University leadership to do the following:,

  • To end the police presence on and around our campus.

  • To provide immediate and unrestricted campus access for all Columbia members and affiliates, including their guests.

  • To reaffirm its commitment to academic freedom, and the rights to the freedom of speech and peaceful assembly.

  • To reinstate all suspended and expelled students and remove all sanctions applied to them, and delete their disciplinary records.

  • To press the NYPD to drop all charges for anyone arrested on April 18 and April 30.

  • To divest immediately from any and all corporations and institutions that fund governments and regimes which implement apartheid spatial planning and carry out war crimes.”
