  • A student (who spoke to fox news during the 9/3 protest, video around 1:35)  stood at the entrance to campus telling people, “Your tuition dollars put toward the bombing of Palestinian children…”, “Learn how Columbia is directly involved and complicit in the genocide of the Palestinian people.” He mentions and hands out a “power map” (previously handed out by CUAD many times-here) and asks those entering campus to “get involved”.   • Table 203 (assigned to The Palestinian Student Union at Columbia University - Dar Columbia- see photo here) had both JVP and SJP signs and fliers (here). Of note, JVP passed out its manifesto (here), which includes referring to Israel as “a genocidal and illegitimate Israeli state” and says they are “dedicated to dismantling Zionism”. They “fully support the demands and mission of CUAD”. JVP and SJP were suspended in November of 2023 and have not been reinstated.
