2024-10-08 CUAD Supports Khymani James

#CUAD issued a statement on their social media accounts titled, “A Letter from CUAD Leadership to #KhymaniJames and Our Comrades in Solidarity.” In April when James’ famous video in which he says, “zionists do not deserve to live” and “Be glad, be grateful that i’m not just going out and murdering zionists”, CUAD distanced themself from him but now CUAD apologies and embraces Khymani and his statements. The letter also repeatedly calls for violence. One line explicitly states, “in the face of violence from the oppressor equipped with the most lethal military force on the planet, where you've exhausted all peaceful means of resolution, violence is the only path forward.” Another states, “We support liberation by any means necessary, including armed resistance.” (image, image, image, image). Khyamni James publicly thanked CUAD on X, stating, “I will not allow anyone to shame me for my politics…Anything I said, I mean it.” This tweet was retweeted by Unity Fields (image). That same day, Khymani said he does not condemn Hamas (image).
