  • On November 9th and 10th, 2024, CUAD and WOL held an exhibition at the Alpha Delta Phi (ADP) Society house (526 W. 114th) titled Hind’s House, in commemoration of the takeover of Hamilton Hall in April 2024. There is an Instagram account (here) that documents their events.

  • Hind’s House was heavily advertised on Instagram (Screenshot), promoted by CUAD (Screenshot), SDS (Screenshot), and other organizations.

    • The Hind’s House Instagram account has made multiple threatening posts glorifying violence and murder, including comparing the Hamilton Hall takeover to the First Intifada (Screenshot), calling for “Direct Action” superimposed over an armored fist (Screenshot), and calling for people to take “Direct Action everywhere” superimposed over news from the War in Gaza (Screenshot).

    • Per Wikipedia, “Direct action (DA) is a term used in the context of military special operations for small-scale raids, ambushes, acts of sabotage, and similar actions.”

  • Exhibits at the event (media folder) included:

    • Multiple illustrations depicting desecrated Jewish symbols, including images of menorahs engulfed in flames and a Star of David splattered with blood (Images 1-2);

    • A collection of tools and equipment used during the Hamilton Hall takeover, including crowbars, hammers, walkie-talkies, PFLP headbands, and others (Images 3-4);

    • Photography from the occupation of Hamilton Hall, accompanied by materials outlining logistical details, including maps (Image 5), sleeping arrangements (Image 5), task assignments (Images 6-7), security plans and response scenarios (Images 6-8), locations of heavy equipment (Image 6), food inventories (Image 9), images of barricades and inventories (Image 10), and a Mao Zedong quote—"Political power comes from the barrel of a gun”—was displayed next to the security plans (Image 8);

    • Posters with the images and supposed “crimes” of Columbia trustees Abigail Elbaum, Jeh Johnson, Claire Shipman, Victor Mandelson, and Fermi Wang (Images 11-12);

    • “Wanted” posters of U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Pastor John Hagee were handed out to visitors, stating that they are “[complicit] in Israel’s genocide in Gaza” (Image 13).

  • The founder of WOL, Nerdeen Kiswani, was invited to speak at the fraternity house on Saturday night (Screenshot1, Screenshot2).

  • Students read Yahya Sinwar’s last will and testament (video). This was documented in an article in “Hyperallergic” here.

  • WOL was active in co-organizing this event, including selling branded merchandise (Screenshot).

  • CUAD held multiple teach-ins and learning sessions (Screenshot), including a “Discipline Defense Corps” protest skills teach-in (Screenshot), “Know Your Rights” legal training, and “Defense Training”.
