See post [__here__](https://www.instagram.com/p/DCoALGARJZo/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==) and screenshots [__here__](https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1qrL0xqYJFglkn9uCRExkKDr9Px8ekmOV?usp=share_link). The flier was shared by several other Columbia student groups and social media accounts including [__tcabolition__](https://www.instagram.com/tcabolition/) (**#TCAC**), [__pwgatsipa__](https://www.instagram.com/pwgatsipa/) (**#Pwgatsipa**), [__hinds_house__](https://www.instagram.com/hinds_house/), [__cumc4palestine__](https://www.instagram.com/cumc4palestine/) (**#CUMC4Palestine**), and [__barfnard__](https://www.instagram.com/barfnard/) (**#Barfnard**).  * The protest began outside of SIPA with chants “Robert Kraft your hands are red” and “Hillel your hands are red” ([__video__](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1T4OmBv5t4qcCW6lBQIZ_fqCylX8U9Hlt/view?usp=sharing)). * A little after 5:30, they begin marching toward Hillel. See post [__here__](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1TuZ8C__Qco1Og-FzN2GtPa8Vs2VEwKUz/view?usp=sharing).  * Protesting at the corner near Hillel - [__video__](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1TE6oCmM6EnluYGJGNADqa5PTDEQRHTmU/view?usp=sharing) * NYPD put up barricades at the intersection of X and Y so that the protesters could not reach the Kraft Center ([__video__](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1SozBvw4_0jAk7Ff5tOZezJuhWTF40qjI/view?usp=sharing), [__video__](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1So6IOz6LSFxFKVBFSbx-QjjjHzWwoJOd/view?usp=sharing)). Almost all of the protesters are covered in masks and keffiyehs, presumably to hide their faces/identities ([__video__](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1T4OmBv5t4qcCW6lBQIZ_fqCylX8U9Hlt/view?usp=sharing)).  * Chants included “end the settler zionist state” ([__video__](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1SoS45EwhMaeMKoZI_7UYEnRqILhLTDik/view?usp=sharing)), “Brick by brick, wall by wall, Israel will fall” ([__video__](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1SkalgHYt8XwKFCMEw4Kjx7hBDSyizEQV/view?usp=sharing)), and “Globalize the intifada” ([__video__](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1SzxivCeJByyv3ytu8GxhUSxU3la5uMAA/view?usp=sharing)). Some participants were wearing tape as arm bands – these are presumably the protest “security,” which they have at all of CUAD’s events. * Hillel you can’t hide, you invest in genocide ([__video__](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1TUMY198JBqlyIXc00212gLS3h9SJ7kLc/view?usp=sharing)) * Close to Hillel, a participant gave a speech (see the [__speech__](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1XKgXv8SY6G3scwKPGP_9qXDC_UrvFUxT/view?usp=sharing), posted on telegram). Part of the speech can be seen in this [__video__](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1TlfpR3X8mti6i3hAEHdBvczwKT6uV-sP/view?usp=sharing).  * At the end of the protest, the participants chant, “Make sure Hillel knows, we’ll be back” ([__video__](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1TLyoI-aIrnJ13dpGzNVAq6bkD4f3W5D5/view?usp=sharing)).  * A handout given out calls for the boycott of the Institute for Global Politics and Kraft Center for hosting Barak Ravid “a zionist, pro-Trump journalist”  ([__image__](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1TICAHrJIkzgvp71h8t6PCGgbJ-30QBGe/view?usp=sharing)). The other side of the handout complains about IGP and the Kraft center / HIllel ([__image__](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1TEffPSmL0KHBix0w1IKKmTm3c344xSRt/view?usp=sharing)).  * The [__Barak Ravid event__](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1rEedg15YVVSIinWL5skb6dhmih_qNrkS/view?usp=sharing) took place at Hillel. As the event began, several individuals walked out in protest. See videos [__here__](https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/13_EfTNQqWVYQzTZydJcANCTkrh76Dl1q?usp=share_link).  * Brian Cohen, executive director of Columbia Barnard Hillel, summarized the protest in his email to the community the next day ([__here__](https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1VUDLD16tnvEHpSMAyUmfOCHYud41Gn4O?usp=share_link)).  ## Media * See article in the Spectator [__here__](https://www.columbiaspectator.com/news/2024/11/22/pro-palestinian-protesters-call-to-sever-all-ties-with-hillel-outside-kraft-center/). # Footer *Please see the* [*Footer*](/doc/footer-gtEqmMBRHz) *page for important reference information regarding usage rights, inquiries, and other matters.* --- **Documents** - [DOCUMENTING JEW HATRED ON CAMPUS (DJHC)](https://documentingjewhatredoncampus.getoutline.com/s/93b310d5-95f0-449a-8b9c-8856879b06e8/doc/documenting-jew-hatred-on-campus-djhc-WUPKm3CSLY) - [GENERAL REFERENCE INFORMATION](https://documentingjewhatredoncampus.getoutline.com/s/93b310d5-95f0-449a-8b9c-8856879b06e8/doc/general-reference-information-7DxXSS7JcC) - [COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY ARCHIVE](https://documentingjewhatredoncampus.getoutline.com/s/93b310d5-95f0-449a-8b9c-8856879b06e8/doc/columbia-university-archive-epk0gmmFWv)
