Avi Friedman, an Adjunct Professor of Finance at Columbia Business School, resigns and pens a scathing [resignation letter](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1c2-H5NbKMdkIg4pCf6TzVi8TG_aOVl-6/view?usp=drive_link) to Columbia University’s interim president Katrina Armstrong citing school’s antisemitism and appointment of anti-Israel and antisemitic professor[Joseph Massad](/doc/06eb46e7-773e-4ae8-8823-9d16ff710818) to teach a class on Zionism as the reasons for the resignation.


This is the second resignation at Columbia due to the schools support for antisemites such as professor [Joseph Massad](/doc/06eb46e7-773e-4ae8-8823-9d16ff710818), against whom there is a pending Title VI investigation. The first resignation was by the adjunct professor Lawrence Rosenblatt [resigned](https://www.jpost.com/international/islamic-terrorism/article-833691) in December, 2024.
