The Columbia Palestine Solidarity Coalition (CPSC), which is led by Columbia University students, operates an unofficial club and is closely affiliated with CUAD, organized “Mask Monday” in response to the university’s decision to adopt a policy regarding facial masks. The new policy requires individuals to remove their masks and/or present an ID if asked by public safety officer.
The Student Works of Columbia (SWC) union for graduate students also collaborated with PSC on this event and helped lead the protest on campus. They also had a table located outside the gates of the 116th street and Broadway entrance.
